Ames
Ames Bros, Coby Schultz and Barry Ament, opened their studio in 1994 and have been in the ascendancy ever since. Refusing to confine themselves to apparel alone, upon their mighty shoulders they carry with them scores of famous rock bands, hundreds of screen printed rock posters, snowboard companies, super bowl logos and Rambo’esque survival tactics.
As the men behind the crafty packaging of Pearl Jam’s Grammy-nominated third and fifth albums, it is common knowledge in the music industry that Ames Bros helped turn the lifeless CD case into the unique collectible that its predecessor the record sleeve once was. Despite this though it is screen printing where Ames Bros have made their real mark on history. Having designed and screen printed hundreds of posters, cd packages and of course t-shirts, for the likes of Snoop Dogg, Radiohead, The Strokes, and Sting, the legendary Frank Kozik even dubbed Ames Bros as ‘the best poster artists in the business.’
Arriving at Mash Clothing in 2006, Ames Bros have fast established themselves as one of the top selling brands.
